For the children we serve, it is a time for hope, independence, feeling of triumph and connecting with other kids who fight the same battles against their disease.  For their siblings and for children whose parents are diagnosed with cancer, they see they are not alone in the daily challenges they face.

Celebrating 29 years of hope, CAMP CARTWHEEL continues to be one of NVCCF’s most impactful programs.  Traditionally, the medically supervised camp spans two weeks each summer and welcomes over 200 children and 160+ generous volunteers.  It has set the standard for summer camps for critically ill children, their siblings, and for children whose parents are diagnosed with cancer. However, this year Camp will span one (1) week only.  It is the longest running and largest camp in Nevada and is nestled at the beautiful Torino Ranch. We express our sincere love and appreciation to the Brett Torino Foundation and his amazing staff at Torino Ranch.

NVCCF works diligently to ensure that each child’s experience is positive and memorable.  We let them know how important they are to all of us at NVCCF, our family of incredible volunteers, and the generous donors who make Camp Cartwheel possible.

Click the button below to visit the application.  Applications are due to NVCCF NO LATER than March 22nd, 2024!

Sign up NOW to Volunteer for Camp Cartwheel!  Applications are DUE by March 22nd, 2024!.

CAMP CARTWHEEL is great fun, but for many of our kids fighting cancer and other life-threatening illnesses it gives them hope, independence, feelings of triumph and the courage to carry on.
