July 19 – 23, 2022

It’s CAMP CARTWHEEL time!  We are thrilled to announce that we are hosting one (1) extended week of Camp this year at the beautiful Torino Ranch, July 19 – July 23, with the Yearbook Signing Party on July 24.

SPACE WILL BE LIMITED and completed applications will accepted on a first come, first serve basis only.

For the children we serve, it is a time for hope, independence, feelings of triumph and connecting with other kids who fight the same battles against disease.   For their siblings and for children whose parents are diagnosed with cancer, it is an eye-opening experience to see they are not alone in the daily challenges they face.

Celebrating 27 years of hope, CAMP CARTWHEEL continues to be one of NVCCF’s most impactful programs.    Traditionally, this medically supervised camp spans two weeks each summer and welcomes over 200 children and 150 generous volunteers.  It has set the standard for summer camps for critically ill children, their siblings, and for children whose parents are diagnosed with cancer.  However, this year Camp will span one (1) week only. It is the longest running and largest camp in Nevada and is nestled at the beautiful Torino Ranch.   We express our most sincere love and appreciation to Brett Torino and his amazing staff at the Torino Ranch.

NVCCF works diligently to ensure that each child’s experience is positive and memorable.  We let them know how important they are to all of us at NVCCF, our family of the incredible volunteers, and the generous donors who make Camp Cartwheel possible.

Most Sincerely,

Jeffrey R Gordon

CAMP CARTWHEEL is great fun, but for many of our kids fighting cancer and other life-threatening illnesses it gives them hope, independence, feelings of triumph and the courage to carry on.

Watch this short video to understand how NVCCF’s CAMP CARTWHEEL impacts the lives of children with life-threatening illnesses, their siblings, and children with a parent diagnosed with cancer.

Contact NVCCF to find out more about the implications of living with a childhood chronic illness and how we may help.

There are a number of volunteer opportunities for many events and programs.

Donations go toward improving the lives of those touched by cancer.
