DESCRIPTION:NOTE: CAMP CARTWHEEL HAS CHANGED DATES!!!!!  The 2023 Camp Cartwheel Summer Camp will welcome children on WED.\, JUNE 21\, through SAT. JUNE\, 24.  The Camp Cartwheel Yearbook Party will be on SUN.\, JUNE 25\, from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. \nSince 1996\, NVCCF has hosted Camp Cartwheel a summer camp at Torino Ranch for up to 200 critically ill children\, their siblings\, and children whose parents are diagnosed with cancer.  This overnight and medically supervised outdoor camp experience provides hope\, courage\, and an escape from the ramifications of fighting disease.  \nCamp Cartwheel at Torino Ranch\, managed and facilitated by NVCCF\, offers activities such as swimming\, arts and crafts\, canoeing\, outdoor games\, and more in a 24-hour medically supervised environment to critically ill children in Southern Nevada. \nAPPLICATIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED ON A FIRST COME FIRST SERVE BASIS for those meeting participation guidelines as required by NVCCF.  Applications will be available DECEMBER 2022 for campers and volunteers joining us in 2023. \nFundraising for Camp Cartwheel is perpetual.  Please donate at www.nvccf.org in order give a child a cost free camping experience.  It takes $250 to send one child to camp however any amount is greatly appreciated. \n
