PATIENT ASSISTANCE

The ORION Cancer Foundation Lends a Hand to Individuals

Patients undergoing cancer treatment often experience long hospital stays and missed work days. Loss of work time, plus the costs of healthcare, frequently cause financial distress. The ORION Cancer Grant was established to help lessen the financial burden resulting from medical crisis by helping to pay for essential needs and services.

Please note that foundation staff members DO NOT have information as to if your grant was approved or denied.  Grants are decided upon by a qualified and off-site committee.  Applicants will be advised on the status of their grant through a formal letter process approving or denying the request.  Please allow up to 60 days for a response once the grant is submitted.

ORION funding is based upon donations received annually.  In 2018, ORION will fund up to TEN GRANTS PER MONTH.  Therefore, grant requests submitted are NOT guaranteed to be funded.
